Artist Biography

Robin Noel Hiers began her art career at the age of 8 in the art community of Laguna Beach, California.  Her father John Hiers was the original founder of the popular Art Festival “The Sawdust festival” and “Art Affair” – where she had her first showing.

Robin went to San Diego State University, and studied Graphic Communication and Fashion Illustration. At the age of 37 at the urging of friends, she decided to begin a career as a Fine Artist in Boulder, Colorado.  Her career took off when she began showing at Boulder Gallery/Artcycle. For several years Robin was the featured artist – traveling to trade shows such as ArtEXPO in New York – to sell her art and limited edition prints. Robin has her work in many private collections locally as well as Internationally.

Robin's work is considered to be uplifting  and vibrant. She has shown her work in many local galleries and has been very involved in helping create an arts community in her hometown, Louisville, Colorado.

She is a member of Louisville Arts District, and EBCA (Open Studios).  Her painted canvases express beautiful things that reflect places she has lived, traveled to, and celebrate her passion for life.  Robin paints in vibrant oils and pastels.
